Fall is a great time to visit Anna Maria Island and the coastal area around it. The temperatures are still warm but soon they will start cooling down just a bit. The Gulf waters are still in the low 80’s and the sun sets around 7:30pm, sinking into the Gulf of Mexico. Since we have such mild weather in the fall, you can still do all the water sports you would do in the summer else where, our Island offers, ParaSailing, jetsking, boat rentals, fishing charters, beach combing, snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico and much more. Fall is a more laid back not that many visitors so the restaurants have smaller or no wait times: there is still entertainment in the fall with steel drums, jazz, and more. Fall is the start of the Bridgestreet Market on Saturdays and fall festivals. If you like live theatre fall starts the season for the Island Players and the Sarasota Player, Manatee Players is already in full swing. Our is full of culture with Museums and theatres and it is relaxing with the lapping waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Our Island was features recently in the New York Times as one of the best kept secrets of Florida. For more information about our island visit our web page we keep current events, weather and rental properties on our island including Fall Specials. http://www.islandvacationproperties.com/ or take a flight over our Island at http://awesomeannamaria.com/
